Include her bridesmaid's name on your invoices and communications. Small details like "Styling for Jayne, Angela & Marie" make her feel seen or send her a handwritten card congratulating the bride and thanking her for choosing you. Why? Because personalisation sets you apart from other vendors and shows you care. Take time to learn and use the wedding party's names wherever possible.Little gestures go a long way in showing brides you cherish them as individuals, not just clients. This genuine care keeps them loyal long after the big day. This wedding season, look for opportunities to surprise and delight with personal details. It's what transforms a transactional vendor relationship into a treasured friendship.#PersonalizedService#WeddingDetails#ClientAppreciation#BrideAndBridesmaids#TreasuredMoments#CustomerLoyalty#WeddingVendor#ThoughtfulGestures#CherishedClients#VendorFriendship

Got a bone to pick with the Joneses? Keeping up with them has no place in your wedding. It's a celebration of love, not a game of one-upmanship. Let's throw out the rulebook and plan a wedding that reflects YOU. Start by clarifying your values and expectations. Crunch the numbers and set a realistic budget. Choose vendors who share your style and create a meaningful ceremony. Be intentional about every detail, from venue to styling. Plan the timeline with milestones and clear communication. Remember, it's about joy, not debt. Ignore the Joneses and celebrate your unique love. #WeddingPlanning #LoveCelebration

Hey there, it's DJ ESG. Ever wonder why you can't quite shake off that nagging feeling of having too many bridesmaids at your wedding? Well, I'm here to tell you that you're not alone. After 30 long years in the game, I've seen brides left and right tearing their hair out dealing with the added complexities and potential stress each additional bridesmaid brings to the wedding planning. More people to coordinate, more opinions to consider, more dresses to find - the list is endless. It's not about not loving your girlfriends; it's about keeping your sanity intact. Now, let's talk groomsmen. Common practice suggests adding more groomsmen to balance out large bridal parties. But guess what? That's not always necessary. In my experience, guys don't function the same way as girls when it comes to close-knit groups of friends. So, to all you brides out there feeling the pressure to include everyone, remember that it's your day. Choose those who will make your journey to the altar as stress-free as possible. Keep it simple, straight to the point, and most importantly, make it about you. Peace, Love & God Above! :-)

This photo captures what we so rarely get to see. The panic behind the scenes. The less than perfect. The touch ups. The crumbling dreams.I shared a post stating how the bottom layer of the wedding cake I’d made had completely crumbled in transit. You can imagine how l felt at the venue opening the tub that held my damaged bottom layer. It literally looked beyond repair. I really wish you could see the other side of the cake in the picture. It was horrendous.Thankfully l was able to rescue it and stack it, and still have a passable cake for my brother and his bride. You wouldn’t believe the amount of people who responded to my post saying how common it was for wedding cake mishaps. Yet.. how often do we get to hear that? We see the facade. We see a perfect looking confection. Smiling people, great lighting, tinkling music, happiness. Not the mad piping of buttercream and lots of hoping and praying and fretting. So just a reminder to us all today. What we so often see is the visage. Not the REAL. Let’s be careful not to judge ourselves against someone’s touched up photos or photoshopped life. Quite often the bottom layer of someone else’s life is just as crumbly as yours. It just has more buttercream and perhaps better lighting. And we as leaders need to be prepared to be vulnerable. To be authentic and real. We never know who is watching. #authenticity #youvegotthis MKL CX Ltd

🎃 More Treats, Less Tricks 🎃This weekend, it's one of my favorites in Toronto: Halloween! Here, it's not so much about spooky, terrifying costumes; Toronto's Halloween spirit is all about having fun and showcasing creativity, much like a carnival in Belgium. The emphasis isn't on scaring people but on expressing your inner self.Recently, I've had some intriguing conversations with colleagues and friends about the various "masks" we wear in professional settings. You might have come across the 'always busy' (or ‘I need an assistant for my assistant’), the 'always happy,’ ‘Captain calm,’ or even the 'dumb' mask. Of course, they don't reflect the person inside (I certainly hope not, especially for the 'dumb' one). These masks are more like tools in our social toolkit than reflections of our true selves. We adapt them depending on the situation. For example, I've attended countless networking events. Networking can be intimidating, but putting on my best ‘smile mask,’ some makeup to hide the lack of confidence, has helped me navigate professional waters with more ease, regardless of the day I had before. All my problems and stress hidden by the "confident and cheerful" mask I had on.In a world where masks have become a part of our daily outfit, Halloween offers a unique opportunity to reflect on the masks we wear throughout the year. We don masks for different reasons: at work, in our personal relationships, and even on social media. Sometimes, it's a means to ease our way into various environments, and other times, societal expectations seem to force our hand, as fitting in doesn't seem like an option. But here's the thing - just because we wear these masks and makeup doesn't mean we're not the same person. Or as Lady Gaga would say: "Whether I'm wearing lots of makeup or no makeup, I'm always the same person inside."#HalloweenSpirit #SelfExpression #ProfessionalMasks #LadyGagaWisdom #HalloweenReflection
