However, it isn’t easy to know what is actually in this type of oil, for example, what plants and how the oil was extracted and processed.
  • Coconut Oilismadeby pressing freshcoconutmeat or driedcoconutmeat. Virgincoconut oiluses fresh meat, while refinedcoconut oiltypically uses dried coconut meat. Virgin coconut oil can be heated to 350 degrees F, while refined coconut oil can be heated to 400 degrees F.
